He's Back!!

Last night around 8:30 or so Bryan and I were sitting on the couch and heard a motorcycle outside our house. Bryan went out there to find a friend of his and his wife sitting in front of our house shining their headlight on our friend "the bear" up in the neighbor's tree. Bryan ran out there to check it out and took a video, the quality is not very good or very long, he's not great at working the camera. I would have gone all the way down there but let's face it I would never be able to run back to the house if he had decided to come down!! We got the boys out of bed and Bryan drove them down in the car to check him out. I guess we still need to be careful when we play outside, it seems he may be hanging around for a while!

March Pictures

Here are some pictures from this past weekend. Here is a picture of Jack's Potato Person. The first graders had to make a potato into a person and bring them in for a pageant today. Jack made a Tae Kwon Do potato person named "Jake".

Here is a picture of Luke from over the weekend after playing outside for the whole day. I found him passed out on the floor as soon as we had come in, he didn't even have time to take off his jacket.
Bryan was giving the boys rides today in the garden cart, they all thought that was pretty fun.
Henry thought he would pay Uncle Bryan back with a little ride. It was a good try Henry!!

Our First Sign of Wildlife!

This afternoon Amy and I were in the dining room and all of a sudden there was a bear walking very close to our back window. It was exciting to see some wildlife since we now live so close to the woods, however it was a little scary because Jack and Luke were playing outside at the time. Luckily the boys were in the front and made it in to see him and before he made it around to the front yard and across the street. I'm sure this is the first of many animals we will be seeing here!

A Little Update for Grandpa

Grandpa Tom informed me that I've been slacking on the blogging. This may be true but everyone has been sick and therefore we haven't done anything worth blogging! Here are a few pictures of the boys playing outside today, it's probably about 60 here today!

Cole stomping through the mud in his rain boots.
Jack and Luke had fun playing hockey and soccer.

Cole discovered the sidewalk chalk! That kept him busy for about 2 seconds!!

A Birthday Party and Some Bowling

On Saturday morning we went to a birthday party for Natalie and Daniel at the Lutz Museum in Manchester. The boys had a great time, there were so many things to play with and animals to see.

Luke and Cole in the boat.
Jack "milking" the cow.
Cole having a stare down with a chicken.
Cole fixing some food.
Luke having a turn on the horse.
Cole's turn to milk the cow.
The boys petting the bunny that they brought out. This bunny weighed 22 pounds! Literally he was as big as Henry is!!
Later that night we met Bryan at the bowling alley for Family Bowl. The kids had a great time here as well. Here's Cole trying really hard to get that ball.
Jack takes his turn.
Luke watching his ball go down the lane.
Cole got to take a turn with Bryan a few times.

Valentine's Day Celebration!

We had a Valentine's Celebration on Saturday since Jack was very upset that Bryan and I hadn't planned anything big for the family for this "holiday". Grammy and Papa came over with all of the treats, heart shaped sandwiches, cupcakes and candy. The boys had a great time, here are a few shots from the party.

Here's Luke sporting his new hockey shirt from Bubba.
Jack and Papa
Cole enjoying his cupcake.
A sad attempt at a group shot.

Dad's Haircut!

Sorry it's been so long since I've blogged anything but my computer has been down. Here are some pictures of the boys cutting Bryan's hair. Trust me this was not my idea and let's just say there are no after pictures because it was that bad! The boys did have a great time though! I did get a turn after the boys and did exactly as Bryan instructed me to do but it really turned out quite awful, work even gave him a hat to wear the next day because it looked so bad! He has since fixed it and it's ok now.
