Brown's Harvest

On Friday afternoon we went on another hayride at Brown's Harvest. My friend Lynne sets it up every year for a bunch of friends to go on the hayride together and to play and get pumpkins.

Here is the group that went this year, it's pretty amazing all of those kids sat for that long!

Jack and Luke enjoying the hayride.

Cole loved the slide, I think he mostly liked landing in the big pile of hay at the bottom.

Luke's Harvest Fest

Luke's preschool had their harvest fest on Thursday where the kids get to wear costumes and play lots of games and enjoy lunch at school.

Here is Luke trying to eat the donut off the string, he loved this game and ate quite a few donuts.
Luke takes a turn at the golf station.
Cole's turn at golf was not quite as successful as Luke's.
Here are Elmo and Optimus Prime (not what I would like him to be but it's what he picked out and quite frankly I'm just too busy with the move to worry about it!)

Grammy's Birthday!

I've been a little behind with my blogging so in the next few days I will have a lot of catching up to do. Here are some pictures from Grammy's birthday party last week at Amy and Kevin's house.

Here is Cole thoroughly enjoying his cupcake.
Grammy and all of her boys.
I guess Henry thought I wouldn't notice that he put his little hand in my cupcake!!
There is never lack of help blowing out the candles when the Castor's are at your party!

Luke's Field Trip

On Thursday Luke's preschool took a field trip to the pumpkin patch. The pumpkin patch is right down the street from the school so the hay wagons pick us up at the school and give us a hay ride to the pumpkin patch. Cole and I went along with Luke on the field trip, the boys had a lot of fun, they got to each pick a pumpkin, have a donut and cider and play in the corn maze. Here are some pictures from the trip. The group shot never comes out well but Luke is in the top row in the center with his arm over his eyes to block the sun.

Cole picking his pumpkin.
Cole tasting his pumpkin.
The boys posed for a quick picture. It's impossible to get an 18 month old to ever look at the camera and also to ever get a 3 year old to make a "normal" face.

Jack's Tooth!

Jack has lost his first tooth! He is very excited about this, especially since he was hoping for 2 quarters from the Tooth Fairy and was surprised when he got a dollar. This is a very cute stage, I guess until those awkward grown-up teeth come in!

Amy's Birthday!

On Sunday we celebrated Amy's birthday at Grammy's. Amy had plenty of help with the cake and candles!
There is just no good way to give a 18 month old cake, especially when he MUST do everything himself!
Henry thought it would be a good idea to try and taste Cole's cheek!

I Didn't Do It!

Today Luke was coloring, which normally is fine but then I looked at him and before I even said anything he said "I don't have marker on my face". It's funny that he swears he didn't do it even though he was the only one here at the time. He told me a robber came in and did it, I'm pretty sure I would have noticed a robber walking around coloring on kids. Nina-maybe this will make you feel better about Braeden "stamping" on the walls, see he's not the only crazy kid out there!
