Jack's Baseball 2010

Here is a little summary of Jack's baseball this year, these aren't in any special order and I only brought my camera to one game so it's all been captured in one shot!

At the end of every game the little siblings can't wait to run the bases, Cole takes this very seriously and even pretends to hit before he takes off....

....here he comes around third base!
Reed managing all of the equipment
Luke takes a turn around
If I had a penny for every slushie (flushie as Henry calls them) that I bought this season, I'd be rich! The Castor family kept that Snack Shack in business!!
Jack was very happy to get a chance to pitch at the last game of the season.
This is one of my favorites! This is Jack giving a high five to his good friend Cameron, who is the first baseman for the opposing team.
Jack focusing on the game as he plays third base, this is the position he normally plays.
Henry looking very cute in Jack's spare hat, he just wanted me to take a picture of the ball.
Reed was not a fan of the batting helmet
Henry very focused on the game, just not the one he was there for!
Love this one!!
This was their last game and they had a pizza party after, here they all are yelling "undefeated", which they were. Jack was on a great team with a great bunch of kids and a great coach, their team was the talk of 2nd grade, no one was able to beat them all season!!

GiGi Turns 85! (well in a few weeks)

On Saturday night we celebrated GiGi's (my grandmother's) 85th birthday which is later this month. We all surprised her at Seabury for dinner with mostly all of the family and a few of her close friends. Here are a LOT of pictures from the night and I left out a lot as well, it was hard to choose!!

Of course, a shot of all 5 boys all dressed up and ready to surprise GiGi!!
Grammy and Papa with the boys.
Cole ready with his camera to capture GiGi's reaction....he makes his mother proud!
We surprised her!!! She was definitely surprised when she walked in and saw everyone....
....even more surprised when she saw her longtime friend Babb's had made the trip over!
Henry started following GiGi around as soon as she walked in asking her for the cake! Poor boy, we hadn't even sat down to dinner at this point!
She was very happy with her digital photo frame we all pitched in to get her!
GiGi and her friend's!
This is one of my favorite pictures of the night!
The boys were really good, look at those two coloring so nicely....
...ok, they only have so much goodness in them, Henry got bored with the book and decided to give Cole some purple polka dots in his nice blond hair!!
It was a group effort to blow out those candles!
GiGi had to give Henry a little frosting to hold him over until he got his piece...
...that is one happy boy!!
Reed found ways to amuse himself while waiting for his piece!
Getting tired, what a fun party!
Bye bye GiGi!!
I've had some cake, caused some trouble, I'm outta here!! Happy Birthday GiGi!!!!

Memorial Day

This year we went to Windsor Locks to watch the parade with the Klvana's and Barone's. As always the kids had a blast and Jack was happy to see some of his WL friends marching.

Here they are all lined up ready for action!

Don't be fooled by Kev's face, he LOVES his nephews!!
Okay, let me explain the next 3 pictures....I thought it would be a great time to get a family photo while we waited for the parade to start, boy was I wrong...
...I'd like to point out that Reed cries like this every time Amy is around and she isn't holding him, so since she was the photographer it was very rough for him!
This was the best we could do, notice Bryan doesn't do much better than the boys! Oh well, I look pretty good :)
They do play nice some of the time! Not long after this Cole dumped a shovel full of sand on Henry's head and it was game over!
The kids decided to have a water fight, I'm not sure why no one put on their bathing suits that I brought but at least they had something dry to put on for the ride home!
An attempt at a group shot with the boys, Henry and Owen. Owen is too occupied with the bubble wand we had to give him to get him to stay put! We had a lot of fun with everyone and it was great to be back on James St.!!
