Snow Day Fun!

The boys had a lot of fun in the snow yesterday with Henry. The best part was that Henry, Cole and Reed all took great naps in the afternoon, it was great to get out of the house and get some fresh air!!
Henry was a big help with the shoveling!
Reed loved spending some time outside in his sled.
Jack hauling snow to the "snow fort".
The boys in the fort (Henry wasn't quite able to get his little body up into the fort)!
Jack giving Reed a ride over to the fort.
I don't think Reed understood what all of the excitement over the fort was for?!
Henry had a little mishap with his boot!!
The little boot we found lying in the snow bank!
He must have walked around for a good 15 mins. without the boot before we noticed and he kept telling Bryan he didn't need it on!! He had one soggy foot when we got in!!
An attempt at a shot with all 5 boys.

Another Milestone! (this time it's Cole)

Cole has recently given up his night-night (pacifier). We have been talking about it for quite a while now and I told him that once he turns 3 he would not be able to have it anymore. During one of our talks the other day he said "I don't need my night-night", I figured I should go with it, when we got home he "turned in" all of the night-nights and that has been it!

We are now on night number 3 and have been very successful. The first night he did come into our room in the middle of the night demanding his night-night but we were able to get him back to bed without it and there hasn't been much talk of it since. This is a HUGE milestone for Cole, I know everyone says they won't go down the aisle with it, well he was that attached that I really thought he might! I am very proud of him but at the same time a little bit sad because that was really the last little bit of "baby" he had left :(. Here are a few pics of Cole throughout the last 2 years with his precious night-night.

I haven't quite figured out how I'm going to keep him quiet in public now, those of you that know Cole well know just how loud he is. I'll have to come up with a new trick I guess!

A First for Reed

Just today Reed has learned to put his food into his mouth. He has been able to pick his food up for some time now but was unable to actually get it into his mouth. Here are some pics of him at dinner tonight, he is very proud of his new accomplishment!

Luke's Bowling Party

Luke had a bowling party on Sat. afternoon with his friends. Overall I would say it went pretty well, stressful for me but the kids all had a great time. Here are some pics from the day.

The "big boys" waiting their turn to bowl.
Luke and some of his friends from preschool, Ryan, Tyson and Liam.
Reed hung out with Aunt Nina for some of the time, once again he was great!
Cole waiting patiently for his ball to make it down the lane, Cole loves to bowl and loves that he was a part of the party.
Not really sure what this move is, I guess Luke thought he would do a little break dancing while waiting for his ball to make it down. We had to tell him this wasn't proper bowling etiquette!
The kids all love the arcade as well!

Finally it was pizza time!!
Reed got to sneak in a few frames while the kids had pizza and cake.
Present time!!
Luke opening his planets from Summer and Sienna (the cute little twins to his right). It's an appropriate gift considering the fact that their mom is a science teacher, ironically she was my high school biology teacher! Luke had a great day and has a great group of friends and was very happy to share his day with them all!!
